Ashtanga Led w/Live Ambient Music!

Join us for an Ashtanga Led class with live ambient guitar music by Blqlab.

Vincent Boyce (Blqlab) creates expansive, lush, and socially rich ambient compositions to support/enhance meditation and yoga sessions. He characterizes this as a magical journey, creating something that is both "there" and "not there" at the same time.

Much of Vincent’s work is inspired by “spacious minimalism”, where the tonal qualities of notes played offer the listener an affordance of relaxation and exploration, reflection and focus.

A New Jersey native, Vincent spent his early adult years in Santa Cruz, CA., studying Art/Design and surfing, while developing a deep connection between yoga, meditation, nature and music. He’s also a graduate of Parsons School of Design, and NYU where music, composition and sound design were integral components of his Undergraduate and Master degree curriculum.

Learn more about Vincent and check out samples of his work by visiting his website,, or on Instagram:

Full Led Primary Series w/Karri Jinkins - KPJAYI Authorized Teacher

Thrilled to announce that Karri Jinkins will be leading our full primary series on Sunday, Jan, 21, 2018 at 1pm. Karri has been Sara's long-time teacher and mentor.

Karri Jinkins was authorized to teach the Ashtanga Method in 2001, by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore, India.  She has spent the last 18 years teaching Ashtanga Yoga, meditation and wellness.  She has taught at various studios over the years including: Eddie Stern’s studio in Soho and Brooklyn and Ashtanga Yoga LA in Silverlake.   In 2013, she developed a column for Archetypes called Yogamama (which you can read on her blog) about her experiences as a mother and yoga practitioner.  In 2014 she was a contributing author for the book, Yoga Sadhana For Mothers.  Karri currently teaches at the Kula Yoga and privately in New York City.  She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and son and she writes for various on-line publications including the Huffington Post.  She is working on her first book about her experiences with yoga and motherhood.

Ashtanga yoga is a traditional yoga method that can purify the body, mind and nervous system when practiced with the correct counting and breathing technique.  The beauty of Ashtanga is that anyone can learn it: young, old, sick or healthy. This method is meant to be a personal practice that one can practice at whatever pace or intensity works for that individual.
